Sociology

Departmental Mission:

The motto of the department is to impart theoretical knowledge regarding society as a whole and to study social life, social change and the causes and consequences of human behaviour. Investigate structure of groups, organizations and societies, and how people interact within these contexts. Through Sociology, the department trains students to understand the basic social processes of society, social institutions and pattern of social behaviour.

Plan of Action:

(1)  To Conduct a Socio-Economic and Medical Survey in the Betoni Village (adopted Village)

(2) To conduct a Health Awareness Programme

(3)  To publish a book of   Research based Articles with ISBN.

(4) To organise a national seminar: Done

(5) To organize a national level workshop
