Tingkhong College, Tingkhong is a prestigious institution in Assam offering education in Arts and Science at the higher secondary and Degree levels. The college was established in the year 1972 with an Arts Stream only and it has reached another milestone, that of the inauguration of its Science Stream in 2023. The college aims to provide quality education in the region par excellence, an aim that the college has been striving for since its inception. Additionally, the college also focuses on engaging students in sports and extracurricular activities. The college has overcome numerous obstacles to produce students who excel in academics, sports, and self-employment, despite facing numerous challenges throughout various stages. Tingkhong College has completed two cycles of NAAC evaluation in 2007 and 2015, earning C+ and B grades respectively, and is now ready to invite the third cycle. By fostering a strong partnership with parents, we can work together to create a supportive and enriching learning environment for students. This collaboration allows us to better understand each student’s unique needs and provide tailored support to help them thrive academically and emotionally.
