A gist of the department:

Established in 2023, the Department of Physics, Tingkhong College fosters a vibrant learning environment for the students interested in physical science. Currently, the department is functioning with two qualified faculty members having research experience in concerned area of physics. The department offers a comprehensive four-year undergraduate program (FYUGP) aligned with NEP 2020 curriculum of Dibrugarh University. The FYUGP integrates Core and Minor physics courses with hands-on skill-enhancing workshops and offers opportunities to learn and acquire knowledge in the particular domain. Recognizing the importance of a strong foundation, the department also offers secondary level physics courses, potentially benefiting students aiming for higher studies. The department utilizes a range of teaching methods, including lectures, ICT integration, discussions, peer-teaching assignments, and seminar presentations, to create a smooth and engaged learning experience.
